8/6/2019 update: we are still here at the 'sweetest place on earth'...or at least that is what we hear. Kevin is doing a bit better. On Saturday they put him on a TPN (iv nutrients) and steroids. He did start to eat a little food on Sunday. He has done pretty good, but still has some severe nauseousness and stomach pain, but not all the time. They will be taking him off the TPN tomorrow and see what his nutrient levels look like with what he is eating on his own. They can always start again, but hoping he can eat on his own. He will need to do that before they send him home, so another 2-3 days at the least is my guess. Thanks for all your support!
