Christmas Day Madness!
We stayed at our house Christmas morning and the kids had a blast opening their presents. We were exhausted when we were done, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

Going for your Christmas Tree !
So, we decided that this was the year to take the whole family to a tree farm and cut down our Christmas Tree! Piper was so excited! She danced around in the morning singing Christmas songs! As we headed off in the car, Brad asked if I looked up how to get there... to which I replied... "Why, our friend Jane just said it was passed Funk's in Millersville, and you take a right on Stehman Church Road". To which Brad replied... "take out your phone and gps it." Although you would think it would be easy to follow the purple line on the map... apparently if you don't turn the phone the same direction you are going... you will tell your driver the wrong way to turn. Piper was a trooper as we went down many wrong roads, back roads, and turn arounds. It took us 45 mins. to go to a tree farm only 15mins. away. But it was worth it! We had a great time, got a great tree, and made great memory!
Weekend Birthday Party
We had the pleasure of celebrating one of Piper's best buddy's 3rd Birthday! It was rainbow filled fun and no injuries to report!
Thanksgiving in New York
It is tradition in my family to travel to New York for Thanksgiving. Since my uncle hunts, Brad was very willing to continue this tradition. My parents were nice enough to take Piper with them on the 4 hour drive up. She did great! Read books and slept the entire time. Koen, on the other hand, screamed through most of the trip and almost screamed himself sick. Luckily, Brad did some quick thinking and saw Piper's empty carseat which faces forward. We thought, screaming kid or illegally placing your child in a front facing carseat.... CARSEAT! He loved it! We had a great time with the family and can't wait to go again next year! Hopefully next year Brad and I can actually join in on the dinner conversation! Haha!!!
Some Fall Fun!
We have been enjoying the nice weather and getting outside whenever possible. We have also been working on potty training... she at least has the basics down!

Thank you Miss Kim for taking these awesome pictures of me jumping into my first pile of leaves this year. I had a blast with Avery again! Sorry no pictures of Koen and Hewitt. Can not wait until we have a play date again.
